Privacy Policy

CognitionLayer Pte. Ltd. ("CognitionLayer", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and the guidelines issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC). This policy is provided for general information and is not legal advice.

1. Personal data we collect

  • Contact details you provide through our enquiry form: name, email address and phone number.
  • Enquiry details: solution of interest, team size, budget range, preferred consultation date and any message you send us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to remember preferences and measure site traffic.

2. Purposes of collection, use and disclosure

  • To respond to your enquiries and prepare quotes and proposals for AI stack architecture services.
  • To deliver, operate and improve our layered AI platform services and this website.
  • To send relevant updates and marketing where you have given consent.
  • To meet legal, accounting, security and regulatory obligations in Singapore.

3. Consent

In accordance with the PDPA, we collect, use and disclose personal data with your knowledge and consent, including deemed consent where you voluntarily provide data for an obvious purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. We will inform you of the likely consequences of withdrawal.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our cookie banner lets you acknowledge our use of cookies. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some site features.

5. Third parties and data transfers

We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate, such as cloud hosting and analytics partners, under agreements requiring protection comparable to the PDPA. We do not sell personal data. Where data is transferred outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection as required by the PDPA's Transfer Limitation Obligation.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Enquiry records are generally retained for up to 24 months unless an ongoing relationship requires longer, after which data is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights under the PDPA

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you and information on how it has been used or disclosed.
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Withdrawal of consent to further collection, use or disclosure, subject to legal limits.
